This position acts as a key liaison between housekeepers and leadership and serves as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Housekeeping Supervisor. Responsibilities Serve as the go‑to resource for housekeeping team members, answering questions and providing day‑to‑day guidance. Act as the department lead in the absence of the Housekeeping Supervisor, ensuring smooth operations and appropriate staff coverage. Assist with training, onboarding, and coaching team members while reinforcing department policies, procedures, and quality standards. Coordinate daily work assignments, monitor performance, and inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and sanitation expectations are met. Work alongside the housekeeping team to complete routine cleaning duties, support special projects, and assist in Residential and Medical Housekeeping areas as needed. Maintain department readiness by monitoring supplies and equipment, promoting safety and regulatory compliance, and communicating operational needs and concerns to leadership. Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience required, preferably in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or a related environment. Prior leadership, supervisory, or team‑lead experience preferred. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, safety standards, and housekeeping equipment. Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members effectively. Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing operational needs. Working knowledge of residential and medical housekeeping practices preferred. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and provide shift coverage when needed. Reliable transportation to work and punctuality. Positive attitude and teamwork orientation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
