Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Administrator I in the Compliance, Analysis, and Validation Section (CAVS), you will perform tasks that support the Preparer Compliance Program in alignment with established program policies and procedures. Your responsibilities include researching records in various databases to support compliance audit workloads, reviewing incoming correspondence, compiling schedules and spreadsheets to capture required data, and entering information into proprietary systems for use in audit related activities. All duties are carried out in support of the Department’s Mission and Values and in accordance with Department policies and general procedures.

Working Conditions

• This position requires 4 or more days in the office per week. It is designated office-centered and may be eligible for some remote work based on departmental guidelines and operational need.

Must be a college student enrolled in classes during the regular term (Fall, Spring and Winter, if applicable), at an accredited college or university and carrying a minimum of six semester units (or nine quarter units for undergraduate students), with a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Students who are majoring in, enrolled in, and/or have been enrolled in curriculum relating to Business, Information Technology, Communications, Public Policy or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
