Lakeshore Family Dentistry  is looking for a  Dental Assistant  in Fox Point  to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. What we offer:

• Competitive hourly pay: $25/hr
• Full-time Schedule: Tuesdays 7am-7pm with a 2-hour lunch break from 12pm-2pm, Wednesdays 2pm-7pm with no lunch break, Thursdays 7am-7pm with a 2-hour lunch break from 12pm-2pm, Fridays 7am-3pm with a 30-minute lunch break from 11am-11:30am, the 3rd and 5th Saturdays of each month from 8am-3pm with no lunch break

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

• One year or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on patient care
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the role

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
