A New Yorkbased non-profit organization is seeking a Business Support Service and Accounting Associate to support overseas business activities.

Job Description

This role involves business support services, accounting coordination, and general administrative duties within the Public Affairs Department. Key Responsibilities Respond to business inquiries and conduct mini research using web/databases and government resources Coordinate briefing services and liaise with internal departments Support seminars, exhibitions, and business-related events Manage departmental budgets and accounting processes Prepare payment documentation, vouchers, and travel expense reports Provide general administrative and office support Requirements BA/College degree or higher Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability Team-oriented with strong communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Familiarity with accounting software preferred Experience in research, data analysis, or event coordination is a plus Work Schedule 35 hours/week, 9:00 AM5:00 PM Hybrid work arrangement: minimum 3 days onsite, up to 2 days remote Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) plan Weekends and organization-designated holidays
