PRN Family Nurse Practitioner

The Provider must be able to work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting. They must have the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and is responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, while maintaining a compassionate and welcome atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined. Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions and attitude to deliver excellent patient care. Provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance. Engage with clinical leadership, elevating to management when needed to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost and reliability. Ensure activities are consistent with department expectations and comply with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Process telehealth patient queue promptly to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions. Adhere to clinical practice guidelines from the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and participate in E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols. Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality of care standards. Adhere to the company's core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care and friendliness. Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care. Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day through clinic tours and process overview. Assist new employees with training, shadowing and coaching opportunities. Maintain friendly and cordial relations with clients and employees; foster a positive work atmosphere. Operate in compliance with company standards of operations. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Proven experience as a telehealth clinician. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN employees required to work a minimum of four shifts per month; full‑time employees required 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Additional responsibilities for ancillary providers: on call periodically throughout the year. Experience Requirements and Preferences Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). Experience: At least 1–2 years as a provider in relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, or family medical practice. License and Certification: Active license, DEA in good standing. DEA is required for all providers; where limited by years of practice under state law, DEA will be required within 120 days of meeting minimum years of practice. DOT certification required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and maintained. Eligibility Levels: Level 1: New graduate with up to one year of experience. Level 2: 1–5 years of experience. Level 3: 5–10 years of experience. Level 4: Over 10 years of experience. Compliance Fast Pace Health is committed to equal employment and an inclusive environment.
