Process Engineer II

Process Engineer II at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) leads process improvement and operational excellence initiatives across the Boulder manufacturing site. The role applies engineering methodologies to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while partnering with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements using Danaher Business System tools.

Responsibilities

Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, quality, and efficiency across value streams
Independently manage investigations, problem-solving activities, and implement process changes addressing operational challenges
Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities and develop sustainable solutions
Direct automation and technology implementation, process validation, and new product introduction activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering documentation and standard work specifications

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
2+ years experience in process improvement, engineering, automation, or operational excellence
Proficiency with statistical analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving methodologies
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and investigations with cross-functional stakeholders
Experience analyzing operational data and implementing performance-based improvements
Biotechnology or regulated manufacturing background preferred
Automation, process validation, or equipment qualification experience a plus

Compensation: $95,000–$110,000 base
