Bookeeper

Bookkeeper Position We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage the company's financial records and ensure accurate accounting practices. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with accounting software. Key Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and promptly. Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial records are up to date. Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare and process payroll. Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding payments. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist with budgeting and cash flow management. Maintain organized financial files and documentation. Support tax preparation by providing required financial information. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations. Work with accountants and auditors during financial reviews and year-end reporting. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency with accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong mathematical and analytical abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
