Key Responsibilities of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Manage the clinical situation through effective delegation

Requirements of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in Critical Care preferred, but will accept new graduates
