Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, tailoring support to their unique situations.

• Deliver both individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized service plans that reflect their goals, ensuring regular follow-ups to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.

• Advocate for clients by identifying and facilitating access to vital community resources, addressing social justice concerns, and ensuring their rights are upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves clients in a detox center environment, focusing on those experiencing substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. You will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to respect their unique experiences and building therapeutic relationships that foster trust and engagement in the recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and support in challenging situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
