Required Skills:

• Board certification in neonatology (MD/DO)
• Valid medical license in South Carolina or eligible for licensure
• Proven experience in neonatal intensive care and management of Level III NICU patients
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous locum or per diem experience in neonatology
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Experience with multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Ability to adapt to varied work schedules and settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of experience in a Level III NICU setting
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Other Requirements:

• Availability for scheduled start date of August 29, 2026, with shifts from August 29 – September 4; September 12 – September 18; and October 10 – October 16
• Willingness to work 24-hour shifts including rounding and on-call duties, with coverage including holiday pay
• Compliance with all state and federal licensing, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements
• Must be able to travel to Summerville, SC, and stay on-site during shifts if required
