Required Skills: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with Board Certification in Neonatology Valid medical license to practice in South Carolina Proven experience providing neonatal intensive care in a Level III NICU setting Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and under pressure Nice to Have Skills: Previous locum or per diem experience Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution At least 2 years of Neonatology experience in a Level III NICU Current South Carolina medical license or ability to obtain one swiftly Other Requirements: Availability for scheduled dates: 8/29-9/4; 9/12-9/18; 10/10-10/16 Willingness to work 24-hour shifts including rounding and on-call coverage Ability to handle high-pressure scenarios with professionalism Must meet all standard medical credentialing and compliance requirements Take this exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team providing exceptional neonatal care near the charming coastal area of Charleston.
