Accounts Payable Coordinator

Accounts Payable ClerkOur client, a well-established and growing organization within the energy services industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that offers long-term stability while continuing to grow and invest in its people, serving large-scale commercial and industrial clients.Position is 100% onsite in either Metairie or Baton Rouge.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess a high volume of invoices with accuracy and timelinessReview, verify, and match invoices to purchase orders and receiptsCode and enter invoices into the accounting systemReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesPrepare and process payments, including check runs and electronic paymentsMaintain vendor records and respond to inquiries professionallyAssist with month-end close activities and account analysisSupport general administrative and accounting tasks as neededQualificationsMinimum of 5+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experienceExperience working in an ERP system required; JD Edwards experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systemsStrong communication skills and a team-oriented approach, with the ability to think independently and make sound decisionsWhy This OpportunityEstablished, growing company with a strong market presenceCompetitive salary with bonus potentialComprehensive benefits packageClear opportunity for growth and advancementHighly respected leadership team with a strong track recordCollaborative, team-oriented culture
