\nOur team has partnered with a SaaS company focused on improving transportation safety and efficiency to identify a "Lead Software Engineer" to join their team. This is a Microsoft shop, emphasizing a strong background in OOP (ideally .NET/C#), Azure, React, TypeScript, SQL Server, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and SOLID engineering principles.

\nWe have openings for both backend leaning and frontend leaning Lead and Senior Software Engineers.

\n Salary: $160,000 - $175,000 (depending on experience) + 15% bonus + full benefits (medical/dental/vision/401k match + more)

\n Location: 100%Remote (PST/MST timezone)
\n Responsibilities: \n

\n\t
• Provide day-to-day leadership to a team of engineers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth across the group\n\t
• Offer technical direction through code reviews, architectural input, and hands-on problem solving\n\t
• Define team objectives, monitor progress, and support individual development through coaching and mentorship\n\t
• Contribute directly to the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions\n\t
• Drive delivery of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality expectations, and organizational priorities\n\t
• Build and enhance integrations using APIs and modern cloud-based technologies across enterprise environments\n\t
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to shape technical roadmaps\n\t
• Partner with DevOps teams to improve deployment workflows, system reliability, and monitoring capabilities\n\t
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical audiences\n\t
• Promote adherence to engineering standards, security protocols, and system design best practices\n\t
• Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and technical decisions to support scalability and knowledge sharing\n\t
• Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, system performance, and team efficiency\n\t
• Champion the adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and engineering methodologies\n

\n Qualifications: \n\n

\n\t
• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent\n\t
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience\n\t
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineers\n\t
• Strong proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python (ideally .NET/C# expertise)\n\t
• Experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript is highly desirable\n\t
• Demonstrated expertise in building APIs and working with RESTful services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\n\t
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, or HRIS systems and common data formats like JSON, XML, or CSV\n\t
• Experience working with messaging systems or middleware technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ\n\t
• Background working with large-scale data or high-throughput transactional systems\n\t
• Proven ability to lead teams, solve complex problems, and deliver practical, scalable solutions\n\t
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams\n
