Job Title: Wood Finisher

Join our team as a Wood Finisher on the 1st shift, working from 5 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime available at the start of the shift. Your role will involve applying spray sealers and top coats, as well as spray and wipe stains. You'll match stains and finishes to custom colors and perform repairs on parts and chairs as needed. Ensuring quality is a top priority, and you'll conduct quality checks according to our high standards. Additionally, you'll maintain basic preventive maintenance on spray booths and equipment, perform basic functions on the ERP computer system, and keep your work area neat and clean. Safety is paramount, and you'll adhere to all company rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Apply spray sealers and top coats.
• Apply spray stains and wipe stains.
• Match stains and finishes to custom colors.
• Repair parts and chairs as needed.
• Conduct quality checks according to quality standards.
• Maintain basic preventive maintenance on spray booths and equipment.
• Perform basic functions on the ERP computer system, such as clocking in and out and work order maintenance.
• Keep work area neat and clean according to company standards.
• Work safely and follow all company rules and procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Byron Center, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.50/hr.
