Account Executive

WOOD TV 8 is seeking a dynamic Multi-Media Account Executive to join our high-performing sales team! We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a passion for growing local businesses and a talent for building client relationships that deliver results. In this role, you will manage and grow established accounts while hunting for new business opportunities across a range of industries. You will create customized marketing solutions using our full suite of offerings—from the trusted power of broadcast television to cutting-edge digital advertising tools, including digital video, targeted display, social, and search. Responsibilities: Full-time Sales role on a high-performing sales team committed to excellence and collaboration. Clearly communicate the value of WOOD TV8’s integrated marketing solutions, schedule client meetings, collaborate on proposals, and present strategic recommendations. Proactively develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients using a wide range of resources and research tools. Engage potential clients through strategic outreach efforts, including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn networking, and in-person meetings. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activities and performance metrics. Strengthen and grow existing partnerships through thoughtful insights, campaign optimization, and excellent customer service. Achieve and surpass revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting and reporting. Support station and corporate initiatives and contribute to overall success by performing additional duties as assigned. Skills & Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in media sales, or related fields, with a passion for customer-based solutions. Experienced in consultative selling. Strong organizational, writing, and proposal building skills. Energetic self-starter, team-oriented, and focused on maintaining positive momentum. Quick adaptation of new tools, technology, and processes. Quick thinker, able to ask and answer questions with ease.
