Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Utilizes cut gloves when handling a GMS 520 and GMS 1600 blade in setup and teardown of equipment.

Demonstrates knowledge of different meat cuts, meat quality, and meat handling requirements.

Handles gondolas and equipment properly.

Operates and maintains TVI slicing machines, troubleshoots issues, and performs minor repairs.

Follows quality control processes and standards to ensure the products meet required specifications.

Measures and makes adjustments on slicing machines.

Coordinates with team members and reports any issues or concerns to management.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $28.80* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
