Sr. HR Specialist-Business Partners

Empath Health is seeking a dynamic Senior Human Resources Specialist – Business Partners to assist the Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP’s) with colleague relations investigations, general human resources functions, handling day-to-day questions from colleagues, and creating human resources policies.

The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, excellent oral and written communication skills. Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints. Conduct surveys, interviews, and other research related to human resource policies, compensation, and other labor negotiations; collects information and reports results to Human Resources Business Partners, or Human Resources Director.

This is a hybrid position , and candidates must reside within commuting distance of the Sarasota/ Lakewood Ranch location.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel. Able to create formulas, spreadsheets, and compile data.

What You'll Need

• 5 years of Human Resources experience


• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.


• Thorough understanding of laws in the state of FL, regulations, and guidelines related to HR and contract negotiations.


• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel. Able to create formulas, spreadsheets, and compile data


• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.


• Strong oral and written communication skills.
