Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

Position Summary Part‑time Retail Merchandiser located in Springfield, VA (and surrounding area). Employment Type Part Time – up to 25 hours per week (may increase to 40 hours). Availability required Monday‑Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends or evenings. Responsibilities Store visits: complete merchandising projects at major retail stores within assigned territory. Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays. Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel. Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit. Potential to cover larger regions or travel to increase hours. Compensation & Benefits Hourly compensation: $16.00 per hour for general merchandising projects; higher rates for additional technical projects. W2 employment with bi‑weekly pay and direct deposit. Optional 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Travel reimbursement for store‑to‑store mileage. Paid training to prepare for program success. Accrue PTO hours each week worked. Qualifications Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable. Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory. Strong attention to detail; follow complex written instructions and display diagrams. Independent and team‑oriented; comfortable working alone and collaborating with a small team when needed. Tech‑ready: Internet access, basic hand‑held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS‑enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus. Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle; must use vehicle to perform duties. Physical capability: stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
