About the Role:

The Warehouse position at International Express, Incorporated in HI01 is a critical role focused on ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse facility. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing stock, and supporting logistics operations to meet company delivery schedules. This role demands attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure and productive work environment. The warehouse associate will collaborate closely with team members and management to optimize workflow and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position supports the overall supply chain by ensuring that products are handled and processed in a timely and organized manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, count inventory, and complete documentation.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced distribution center.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments to verify contents and condition.
• Organize and store inventory systematically to facilitate easy retrieval and efficient space utilization.
• Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
• Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to coordinate timely dispatch of goods.

Skills:

The required skills such as basic literacy, numeracy, and physical stamina are essential for daily tasks like inventory counting, order preparation, and equipment operation.
