Material Coordinator

Material CoordinatorSAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator to support the USMC at our Hanahan, SC location. This position is 100% on-site.Job Duties:Assist with inventory tracking, staging, packing, storage, and shipping tasks to include palletizing, wrapping, bandingAbility to perform material picks to fulfill work orders/kitting for equipment builds, test, and shipment as directedUse of database inventory management and barcoding systems to maintain accurate inventory records of material receipt, movement, and shippingAbility to unpack and verify the accuracy of shipments by checking for discrepancies, and reporting non-conformanceMay be required to assist in performing technical work, which may include but is not limited to performance of periodic preventive maintenance operations on equipment. Requires the ability to learn and apply established methods, procedures, and techniques from various equipment manuals or work instructionsAssist in planning, coordinating, and conducting logistics projects as assignedAssist with inventory metrics tracking and weekly logistics reportingGeneral understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM), and drawingsAssistance in research and development of equipment related documentation (Marine Corps Stock List (SL-3’s, Technical Manuals, Parts Lists)Ability to perform program document reviews and provide recommendations to resolve deficienciesQualificationsRequired Education and Experience:High School diploma or GED; Two (2) years or more of warehouse experienceExperience with performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related materialOperating motor vehicles and material handling equipmentUtilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of materialRequired Clearance:An active Secret clearance is required before startingDesired Qualification:Experience with CMPro is preferredOverviewSAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
