Material Handler
Pay: $22.50 / hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Hillsboro, OR

Job Description:
- Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using computer systems.
- Pack and unpack items for stocking on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
- Pick orders for shipping and local deliveries.
- Deliver orders to nearby customers.
- Verify inventory computations and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses.
- Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
- Clean and maintain supplies, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
- Work in a manner that prioritizes safety for self, co-workers, customers, and products.
- Interact with customers on orders, shipping, and deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Computer literacy and basic knowledge of email and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety rules and guidelines in a warehouse environment.
- Drug test and background check required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
- Flexibility and ability to multitask based on workflow demands.
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
- Knowledge of online shipping is a plus.
- Loading and unloading experience.
- Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
- Proficient with computers.
