About the job
The Shipping Supervisor leads daily shipping operations by overseeing team performance,
coordinating logistics, and actively supporting hands-on shipping, packaging, and delivery
activities to ensure on-time, accurate customer shipments.
We're looking for someone who
● Has 5+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
● Has at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor
environment
● Demonstrates strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
● Has experience with shipping software such as FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip
● Is proficient using computer systems and inventory tracking software
● Has experience operating an electric forklift and holds a valid forklift certification
● Is able to read, follow, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
● Possesses strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
● Is comfortable working cross-functionally with production teams, drivers, and customers
● Has a clean driving record and is willing to serve as a backup delivery driver when needed
● Is detail-oriented and committed to quality, safety, and on-time delivery
● Has experience handling high-value or fragile components (preferred)
What you'll do
● Lead, train, mentor, and support the shipping and delivery team
● Schedule daily workloads and monitor team performance to ensure on-time shipments
● Coordinate daily delivery routes and shipping priorities
● Serve as a hands-on leader by assisting with shipping, packaging, receiving, and deliveries
as needed
● Process domestic and international shipments using FedEx, UPS, and other shipping
systems
● Receive customer parts, verify documentation, and stage materials for production
● Manage customer pickups and provide excellent service at the will-call counter
● Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility
● Review shipping documentation, bills of lading, and work orders for accuracy
● Maintain packaging standards to protect high-value products during shipment
● Monitor shipping supply inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed
● Update and maintain standard operating procedures to support continuous improvement
● Promote a safe, organized work environment and enforce PPE and safety requirements
Physical requirements
● Must be able to lift up to 50lbs safely
● Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the workday
● Must be able to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
● Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment
