Job Description

An established industrial equipment manufacturer is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic systems. This position focuses on industrial controls, motor controllers, programmable logic controllers, drives, and electrical assemblies. The Industrial Electrician will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, document completed work, and support safe, efficient production operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented electrician who can work independently while collaborating with project managers and production team members.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, modify, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment specifications
• Troubleshoot PLCs, motor controllers, inverters, drives, wiring, and electrical malfunctions
• Assemble and inspect electrical components, connections, parts, and subassemblies
• Complete preventive maintenance, repair documentation, production records, and quality forms
• Maintain a clean, organized work area while following electrical codes and workplace safety requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial controls experience
• Working knowledge of PLCs, inverters, drives, and motor-control systems
• Ability to distinguish between 480V, 120V, and 24V AC power and between AC and DC power
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Strong electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventive-maintenance skills
• Ability to accurately measure and inspect completed components
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift more than 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must posses UL 508A experience

The base pay range for this position is $28.00 – $32.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
