Location: Fort Worth, TX 76106
Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour (Resume Required)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM–6:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This position is responsible for providing expert technical support to customers and independent service agents, resolving equipment performance issues, supporting warranty processes, and collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams to improve product performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience providing customer support in a hardware, HVAC, refrigeration, or electronics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert technical troubleshooting and repair assistance via phone to independent service agents.
• Manage and resolve equipment performance and service-related complaints from customers.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to investigate and develop solutions for product issues.
• Support and lead in-house technical training sessions.
• Evaluate and process warranty claims within designated approval limits.
• Assist in implementing upgrade and retrofit programs as required.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of Owner's Manuals, parts lists, and other technical documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other company software to document incidents, track support interactions, and maintain service records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in hardware technical support required.
• Technical support experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or electronics strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service phone experience required.
• EPA 608 Type I or Universal Certification required, or the ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment.
• Field experience in HVAC or a related technical field strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Proven customer service excellence.
• Dependable, reliable, and solution-oriented.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Comfortable typing while on calls and managing multiple software systems simultaneously.
• Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based position.
• Regular use of phones and computers.
• Occasional exposure to manufacturing and warehouse environments.
• Collaborative and fast-paced work environment.
