Licenses/Certifications: Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography (CT) per state and regulatory requirements

Experience: Prior CT scanning experience required

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and perform CT scans following departmental protocols
• Set up, monitor, and operate complex imaging equipment
• Prepare patients, including positioning and immobilization, ensuring safety and comfort
• Obtain patient medical history, allergies, and relevant clinical data
• Inject contrast media intravenously as ordered and monitored
• Capture, process, and archive digital images ensuring quality standards
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond to emergencies, including CPR if needed
• Maintain equipment calibration, quality control, and department supplies
• Assist radiologists with specialized radiological procedures
• Document pertinent clinical information to aid diagnosis
• Support departmental quality assessments and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Need

Required:

• Current registration or certification in Computed Tomography (CT) technology
• Valid state license (if applicable)
• Proven experience in CT imaging procedures
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and patient care protocols

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a hospital or similar medical facility
• Bilingual skills or experience working with diverse patient populations
