Construction Project ManagerNR Consulting is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a well known Engineering firm in the Rio Grande Valley to oversee the full life cycle of high-impact government-funded construction projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in federal compliance, cost management, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:Lead planning, execution, and closeout of multiple federal/state construction projectsCoordinate internal staff, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain timeline and budgetPrepare and update project schedules, cost reports, RFIs, and compliance documentationManage subcontractor contracts, change orders, and performance trackingEnsure full compliance with government regulations, safety protocols, and quality standardsConduct site visits, pre-construction meetings, and progress reviews with all stakeholdersOversee project closeout including punch lists, O&M manuals, as-built documentation, and warranty fulfillmentConstruction Project Manager Job Qualifications:5+ years of direct experience managing Federal/State construction projectsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture or equivalent work experienceProficiency in Primavera P6 or similar CPM scheduling toolsAbility to create and manage cost-loaded schedulesExperience handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, and HUB Subcontracting PlansStrong knowledge of OSHA and federal building regulationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust pass a pre-employment drug screenAbility to travel to job sites and conduct on-site inspectionsBenefits:401(k) with company matchMedical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental InsuranceCompany-paid Life InsurancePaid Time Off – Vacation, Sick Leave, and HolidaysCareer stability on long-term federal contractsIf you are interested and meet the qualifications please apply now and we will coordinate a time to interview.
