Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year Home Health experience required License: Driver's License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Homecare Homebase experience required Description: Home Health nursing services provide essential care to patients in their homes. Teammates are required to complete six visits a day, including routine visits, discharges, recertifications, and reassessments. The average mileage driven is 60-80 miles a day, with mileage reimbursed weekly. Teammates will travel throughout various designated areas to reach patients. Required skills include IV therapy, wound care, assessment, disease teaching, and case management. Experience with Homecare Homebase is mandatory. Support is provided by departmental leadership as well as clinical management teams. Schedulers assist in organizing visit appointments the day prior for efficiency. Canceled appointments do not count against visit requirements, but there is a minimum visit equivalent requirement per week. A company phone is provided for documentation and communication purposes. Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays. This position operates within a team-oriented culture. Weekend rotations are not required unless the individual is interested.
