Budtender: Full time & Part time

BK Greenery is a licensed adult-use dispensary on Flatbush Avenue where hospitality, education, and exceptional cannabis come together — family-owned, BIPOC- and woman-owned, and rooted in the neighborhood. We're seeking budtenders who are passionate about cannabis, love connecting with people, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a hands‑on floor role: you'll greet, advise customers, cashier, and pack orders, sometimes all in the same shift. Previous dispensary and Dutchie POS experience is exactly what we're after — but if you come from retail, hospitality, or another customer‑first field and truly know your cannabis, we'd love to hear from you too. Main Duties & Responsibilities Work the sales floor and welcome every customer with warmth and professionalism, assessing their needs and recommending the right products Educate customers on flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, and beverages — effects, dosing, onset times, and responsible use Process transactions accurately on Dutchie POS; verify identification and enforce New York State purchase limits on every sale Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, including daily reconciliation Prepare and pack customer orders quickly and accurately Maintain organized, fully stocked displays and keep the sales floor clean and presentation‑ready Adhere to all NY OCM regulations and BK Greenery SOPs, and promptly report any discrepancies or compliance concerns to management Contribute to a positive, collaborative team About You Required 21+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Deep, genuine cannabis knowledge across product categories, including responsible dosing A customer‑first background — dispensary, retail, hospitality, or similar Professional, dependable, detail‑oriented, and composed in a busy environment Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Strongly preferred 1+ year in a licensed adult‑use dispensary Familiarity with NY OCM regulations; Metrc experience an asset Why Join BK Greenery?
