Plant Engineer – Full-TimeLocation: Tennessee Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Production Schedule: Full-TimePosition SummaryWe are seeking a proactive Plant Engineer to oversee and optimize the engineering operations of our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining plant equipment, improving production processes, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring operational efficiency.The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costsMaintain and troubleshoot plant equipment, machinery, and systemsSupport new product introductions and production scale-up activitiesPerform root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and safety teamsEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standardsMonitor plant performance metrics and prepare reports for managementLead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S)Oversee plant maintenance schedules and capital improvement projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environmentStrong understanding of production equipment, processes, and maintenance principlesExperience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement initiativesProficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, ERP systems, etc.)Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environmentPreferred Skills (Not Required)Experience with automation, PLCs, or SCADA systemsProject management experience in manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of quality standards (ISO, AS9100, IATF 16949)Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan optionsOpportunities for professional development and career growth
