Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift: Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, specifically Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, delivering high-quality nursing care based on evidence-based practices. The nurse will monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.
