Med/Surg Telemetry RN - Night Shift

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description: We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring telemetry patients, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry readings.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Document patient care and updates in the electronic health record.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Provide education to patients and their families on health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.

Must have a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.

Must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10 panel drug screen required within 12 months of the start date.
