We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Regional Non-CDL Driver to join our small team of 1-5 drivers. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position involves regular and variable regional routes, consistently delivering freight safely and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a current DOT Medical Card, and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, utilizing electronic logging devices (ELD) for accurate delivery and vehicle log tracking.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a non-CDL commercial vehicle on regional routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load, secure, transport, and unload freight as needed
- Deliver shipments safely and on schedule
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection reports using ELD
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Keep vehicles clean and promptly report any maintenance issues
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Current DOT Medical Card
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in regional non-CDL driving
- Vehicle inspection and route planning skills
- Freight handling and safety compliance knowledge
- Time management and customer service skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
