MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family,  provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

About the Role

Join our Adult Day Health team in Lawrence, MA as a Full-Time Cook, where your work directly supports the well-being of the individuals we serve. You'll coordinate menus, prepare nutritious meals, and help maintain a safe, organized kitchen environment — all while working alongside a dedicated care team.

What You'll Do

• Review menus and work orders to plan and prepare the right types and quantities of food
• Prepare, season, and cook meals; portion meat, fish, and poultry for individual servings
• Inspect food storage and ensure the kitchen and storage areas meet sanitary standards
• Coordinate kitchen staff activities during food preparation
• Plan and review menus and help assess food quantities, labor, and overhead costs
• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations
• Perform other related duties as needed

What You'll Need

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of related cooking/kitchen experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish — required
• Ability to handle food safely and in compliance with health regulations
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment
