As a Cook at Continental Springs, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving delicious meals to our residents. If you have a passion for cooking and providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply for this full-time opportunity.• Perform defined work routines, using various dietary utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned by the Dietary Manager• Prepare and serve meals to cycle menu• Monitor methods of food handling• Coordinate food preparation and meal service• Meet scheduled meal and snack times• Follow federal and state long term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures• Prepare, season, cook, and serve for assigned meal: ensure appropriate portioned servings according to portion control standards• Other assigned duties• High school graduate or equivalent education preferred• One year food service experience in healthcare dietary setting desired• Must be patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and other work assignmentsIf you are a motivated and experienced Cook looking for a new opportunity, please apply to this full-time role at Continental Springs.
