User Experience Designer

UX/Visual Designer Position Overview We are seeking an agile UX / Visual Designer to support a leading entertainment and media company's digital experiences and creative initiatives. This role will focus on web design, design-system components, visual assets, and emerging AI-powered creative tools. The ideal candidate is someone who can move quickly from concept to polished execution, solve design problems independently, and thrive in an environment with tight turnaround times. The designer will support a variety of digital initiatives across B2B, SaaS, entertainment, digital merchandising, and upper-funnel e-commerce experiences . A major focus will be evolving and improving business-facing web experiences and creating scalable design components. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, comfortable working in Figma, and genuinely interested in the rapidly evolving world of AI and emerging creative technologies. Key Responsibilities Design and evolve digital experiences for business-facing websites and digital properties. Create reusable design-system components and patterns in Figma. Solve visual and UX design problems quickly and effectively. Source, generate, edit, and manipulate imagery using traditional and AI-powered creative tools. Explore and incorporate emerging AI tools and workflows into the design process. Translate concepts into polished, production-ready designs under tight deadlines. Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to develop creative solutions. Support B2B/SaaS digital experiences and web-based products. Develop creative for entertainment, sports, seasonal, and merchandising initiatives. Support upper-funnel e-commerce and retail experiences rather than transactional checkout experiences. Participate in A/B testing and user-testing initiatives where appropriate. Clearly communicate design rationale and walk stakeholders through the design process. Stay current with the rapidly changing AI and emerging-technology landscape. Position Requirements Resume Must-Haves Professional experience as a Product Designer, Visual Designer, Digital Designer, or similar . Several years of hands-on Figma experience. Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and problem-solving , not simply polished final designs. Experience designing for websites and digital products. Experience creating reusable design-system components . Strong visual design skills and understanding of modern web experiences. Ability to work quickly and effectively with tight turnaround times . Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and process. Comfortable working collaboratively with stakeholders and clients. Resume Nice-to-Haves Experience with AI-powered design and creative tools . Demonstrated passion for AI and emerging technologies . B2B or SaaS design experience. Entertainment, media, television, sports, retail, or e-commerce experience. Digital merchandising experience. Experience with A/B testing and user testing . Experience with AI-generated or AI-enhanced imagery. Experience working on large-scale consumer or business-facing websites. Experience designing for customer-facing or client-driven initiatives. Not Looking For Traditional graphic designers focused primarily on static creative. Designers who are uncomfortable experimenting with new technology and AI tools. Designers who need long timelines for concepts and iterations. Candidates with limited or outdated Figma experience. Portfolios showing only final designs without demonstrating the design thinking behind them. Candidates resistant to incorporating AI and emerging technologies into their workflow. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an agile, highly visual designer who can move quickly without sacrificing quality . They enjoy solving design problems, are comfortable jumping between different types of creative work, and are genuinely excited about how AI is changing the design industry. A passion for entertainment and television is highly relevant, as is experience working across B2B, SaaS, digital merchandising, or upper-funnel e-commerce experiences.
