General Pediatrics Unit Overview:

• Care for respiratory compromise of various types, including chronic ventilation
• Involvement with hematology/oncology patients
• Post-operative care for orthopedic, neurosurgery, and gastrointestinal/genitourinary patients
• Manage patients with spinal fusions, eating disorders, and diabetes

Additional Information:

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Chemo certification is preferred but not required
• Weekly work hours can be 36 or 48
