Robert Half is looking for a senior accountant for a growing West Chester, OH based company. The senior accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Prepares complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. May guide or review the work of support staff. • At least 5 years of accounting experience, including substantial exposure to full-cycle general ledger activities.
• Demonstrated experience managing month-end close tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong working knowledge of bank reconciliations and the ability to identify and resolve accounting variances.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet-based reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience using Sage 300 or a comparable accounting system in a business environment.
• Familiarity with both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and communication skills in a workplace setting.
