Claremore metal supplier company looking to hire a Warehouse Packer and Shipper.
Pay: $18.00 per hour paid weekly on Friday
Shifts:
1st Shift: Tuesday - Thursday 9AM-6PM AND Friday - Saturday 7AM - 4PM
2nd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 4PM - 1AM
Duties:
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs and measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against of bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
- Assemble wooden or cardboard containers, insert items into containers, nail covers and/or bind containers.
- Affixes shipping labels and shipping instructions via various methods.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Requirements:
- Ability to identify merchandise by a color coded system.
- Knowledge of metal industry preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast pace multi-tasking warehouse environment.
- Must be able to lift 50#, be able to stand, bend, stoop and reach.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read a tape measure is a plus but not required.
Must be able to pass a pre employment background check and drug screen.
