Cybersecurity Analyst - Mid Level - Top SECRET-ONSITE Information Technology Visual Soft, Inc is seeking qualified candidates (US Citizens with active ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance - a requirement onits sub contract on a Project with a Major Prime) for the following position for a federal agency. Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst - Mid Level - ONSITE - an Active Top SECRET required Compensation: Negotiable with standard benefits based on experience, education, degree and certifications and can also work with candidates who prefer 1099 on a case by case basis Location: Huntsville, AL (on a federal agency project), fully ONSITE Shift Timings: Wed-Sat 12:00 PM-10:00 PM (basically Wed thru Sat, afternoon to night, 10 hours a day, may need to ADD additional 30 minutes of personal time for break) Required Qualifications A total of 5 years of professional experience Splunk Enterprise Security Job Description Responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues. Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents. Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause. Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing. Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard. Recommend best practices for IT security. Installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs. Must be capable of conducting analysis, confirming intrusion information and creating a forensically sound duplicate of the files. Decrypts data and provides technical summaries and input. Examines recovered data for relevant information and performs dynamic analysis to include timeline, statistical, and file signature analysis. Performs real-time cyber defense handling tasks to support deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs). All full time employees or w-2 employees with no benefits will be eligible to participate in company's 401k program after 90 days of employment with a company match of 4%, immediate vesting.
