Phlebotomist Floater

Position Summary Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Marietta, GA. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am and 6:00pm depending on travel and work location, with rotating Saturdays working 8:00am to 12:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and related needs Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program One year or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications Three years or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation At least 21 years of age Float Incentive Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Float incentive: Additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.
