Medical Assistant

Location: Calabasas, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch
Pay: $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a skilled and confident medical professional who can provide hands-on clinical support in a personalized patient-care environment. This position requires someone with strong practical experience, particularly in  blood draws, injections, ear cleaning, and taking vital signs .

Approximately 5 years of experience is preferred. An  LVN is preferred but not required ; experienced Medical Assistants with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Take and accurately document patient vital signs
• Draw blood and perform venipuncture
• Administer injections safely and appropriately
• Perform ear cleaning procedures
• Assist with routine examinations, executive physicals, and diagnostic testing
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Support preventive care, immunizations, and chronic disease management
• Assist with patient care related to house calls, as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Follow appropriate clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care
• Support the medical team with other clinical and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, LVN, or similar clinical role preferred
• Hands-on experience  drawing blood/performing venipuncture
• Experience  administering injections
• Experience  performing ear cleaning
• Strong experience taking patient vitals
• LVN preferred but not required
• Experienced Medical Assistants with strong clinical skills are welcome
• Ability to work independently and confidently in a clinical setting
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional, and attentive to detail
• Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
