Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience in nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology procedures for a hospital-based role.

Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department serving adult patients

1:1 patient ratio

Performs Nuc Med procedures including bone, brain, liver, renal, lung, and myocardial studies

Nuclear Cardiology procedures including exercise/rest myocardial studies, Persantine infusion, and pharmacological stress testing

SPECT imaging experience required

Uses GE Optima 640 SPECT and Siemens Symbia equipment

Epic charting preferred

5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Works independently and under direction of the lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience

ARRT(N) and CNMT certification preferred

Fusion/PET experience a plus but not required

Experience with bone scans (3 phase, limited, whole body), brain scans, cerebral blood flow, liver/spleen scans, renal scans, and sestamibi parathyroid scans preferred

Skilled in drawing venous blood, starting/maintaining IVs, isolation precautions/PPE, and handling/storing radioactive materials

Community hospital experience preferred

Epic charting experience preferred

Active NJ or Compact license required if applicable

First-time travelers will be considered for this role

Black scrubs required

Former RWJBH employees must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
