Scientist II - Analytical Chemist

Eurofins Discovery seeks a Scientist II – Analytical Chemist to develop and validate LC-MS methods for contract research services. The role involves analytical method development, lab leadership, and troubleshooting instrumentation in a Saint Charles, Missouri laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Develop LC-MS methods for ADME, DMPK, and bioanalysis applications
• Lead junior scientists and manage daily laboratory operations, equipment, and planning
• Troubleshoot and maintain mass spectrometers and HPLC units
• Conduct data and report QC review; support method validation and assay development
• Identify process improvements and manage reagent and finished goods inventory

Requirements

• 5+ years LC-MS experience in CRO or industry laboratory
• Demonstrated bioanalytical method validation per FDA, ICH, OECD guidelines
• Proficiency in high-throughput analytical method development for small molecules
• Bachelor's degree with 7 years experience; Master's with 5 years; or PhD with 3 years
• Experience with Sciex or Thermo high-resolution accurate mass instrumentation preferred
• Quality Management System experience and strong communication skills
