Scientist I Analytical Chemist

Eurofins seeks an analytical chemist to support contract research services in ADME toxicology and related assays. The role involves LC-MS method development, production assays, instrument maintenance, and collaboration with internal and external teams in a GxP-compliant laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct production assays in ADME toxicology services and support other analytical service lines as needed
• Develop and optimize LC-MS methods for ADME/DMPK and new assay applications
• Troubleshoot and maintain mass spectrometers and HPLC instruments including Sciex and Waters systems
• Perform data quality control, QC review of reports, and maintain regulatory compliance documentation
• Lead method validation initiatives, train colleagues, and contribute to expansion of service lines and data systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant lab experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year
• Direct LC-MS or LC-UV experience in CRO or industry for ADME/DMPK applications
• Proficiency in mass spectrometry-based quantification for biological matrices
• Analytical method development and validation experience aligned with FDA and ICH guidelines
• Hands-on expertise with liquid handling automation, solid-phase extraction, and high-throughput screening
• Quality Management System experience and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Small team leadership and project management capabilities
