Senior Manager or Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing

Kymera Therapeutics seeks a Senior Manager or Associate Director for Strategic Sourcing to lead vendor negotiations, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization initiatives across research and development functions. The role involves managing contracts with CROs, CMOs, and other strategic partners while supporting sourcing process improvements in a clinical-stage biotech environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies aligned with business and financial objectives
• Lead negotiations of commercial terms with CROs, CMOs, and strategic vendors
• Manage supplier relationship management efforts and establish contractual foundations with preferred terms
• Identify and implement cost savings opportunities to deliver hard savings and cost avoidance
• Own RFP processes, bid evaluations, vendor selection, and diligence activities

Requirements

• 6+ years sourcing, procurement, or strategic negotiation experience in biotech or pharma
• Experience supporting R&D sourcing across clinical, translational, research, or CMC functions
• Demonstrated ability to partner with internal stakeholders and deliver customer service
• Expertise in vendor diligence, RFP processes, and bid evaluations
• Strong contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Experience establishing MSAs, SOWs, and preferred commercial terms
