Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)AdviniaCare Summit Commons in Providence, RI is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a part-time (24 hours/week) and per diem basis. As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.Responsibilities:Provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care, including individual, supervised, and group treatment sessionsContribute to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the programConsult with and train patients, residents, and caregiversMonitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisorDocument activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basisDemonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulationsParticipate in clinical program development and implementationDemonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the fieldRequirements:Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited programCEU's per state licensure requirementsCurrent licensure by the applicable state agency where requiredPrior clinical experience preferred but not requiredNew graduates welcome!If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
