Morgue Associate, Inventory Management (1st shift)

Senior Associate, Warehouse Operations Responsibilities Maintain inventory accuracy by managing product holds, product movements, physical returns, purchasing, and the automated tracking of inventory. Drive efficient picking and replenishment by profiling products to determine optimal slotting based on weight, measures, palette dimensions, movement frequency, expiration date, hazardous classification, and other characteristics. Monitor quality and productivity metrics, including damaged product, adjustments, shortages, and cycle counts. Communicate regularly with Supervisor and internal departments about inventory accuracy and quality metrics, and coordinate with outside vendors to secure supplies for operational needs. Investigate outbound discrepancies, report variances to the Customer Care team, and document all issues in line with SOPs. Resolve inbound discrepancies by coordinating with external suppliers and Quality Assurance teams; make necessary adjustments in the WMS. Implement purchasing orders for customers and track deliveries to prevent service disruptions. Identify opportunities to improve operations, mitigate risks, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives. Provide guidance to Associates on complex picking, put-away, and replenishment tasks and support daily operational needs. Assist with warehouse audits by providing reporting and answering questions related to inventory control procedures. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control role. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely at heights of 20-30 ft. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with technology, such as computers or point-of-sale systems, is a plus. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Ability to follow direction, change priorities, and work with limited supervision. Capacity to review output and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
