Phlebotomist

Labcorp – Phlebotomist 10296 Bend Rd., Saint Louis, MO Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, rotating Saturdays every 3rd Saturday, 8:00 am‑12:00 pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program or at least 3 months of experience. Preferred Qualifications 2 or more years of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency required if lacking prior experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Employees scheduled 7 on/7 off are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO. Employees scheduled for 20+ hours but not 7 on/7 off receive only the aforementioned benefits.
