As an Emergency Medicine physician, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to patients in critical situations. Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients Assess and diagnose patients presenting with acute medical conditions Stabilize patients and manage critical care situations Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to create effective treatment plans Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions Document patient encounters accurately and timely Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medical audits Educate patients and families about health management and treatment options Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine Active medical license in the state of New Mexico Strong clinical skills and experience in emergency care Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Knowledge of current medical practices and procedures Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days and nights No call shifts 2 facility locations Annual Volumes: 62k and 90k EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Competitive base salary Medical malpractice coverage #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
