This includes, but is not limited to greeting patients, pulling/filing charts, typing forms, preparing documentation for transmission, answering telephones and assisting the physician, physician's assistant, registered nurse and technical staff in various aspects of patient care.This is a full-time day shift position located at the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The schedule is as follows:Monday 11:00AM - 7:00PMTuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:00AM - 6:00PMFriday 9:00AM - 5:00PMPreferred CriteriaPrevious Medical Assistant experienceRequired CriteriaHigh School Diploma or GEDSuccessful completion of an approved Medical Assistant programCandidate must possess excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and deal effectively with all levels of staff.Superior customer service skills and a strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience.Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
